probably the biggest ovation raw has had in a long time. Rock is ratings dynamite i would watch again just to hear him talking lol
this brings back wrestling memories of the old days the good wwf not this new age bull crap. The Rock still has it.
Ok, ok,ok I'll admit my interest is peaked. I make fun of wraslin' but this might bring me back. The Rock is the crap. Especially if he kicks the crap out of The Miz.
i actually watched raw live yesterday and havent watched a full raw in a very long time just bits and pieces. I dident know about this yesterday and for some reason felt like watching and i marked out for the first time in a long time for wwe.
I like the Rock...like mush said...my interest is peaked... Must need some heavy duty promotion for that latest piece of crap movie he's in with Vin Diesel. Never going away...we'll see... Funny how he rips Cena and the state of the WWE right now...
And in the space of 15 minutes, I remembered what it felt like to be a child again. The pop he got craps on anything that has been before (I think Y2J debuting in 99 was the last time I heard anything even remotely close to that). Great ploy on WWE behalf as well, because this years Wrestlemania was looking almost guaranteed to set records for lowest buys, especially when the fans crapped all over them teasing Cena/Orton Match 1875623.
Raw was steady heading down the crapter, they had to dig deep and get something to save them. This was a huge turn around for Raw. Maybe we'll see less focus on a very weak WWE Champion, and more focus on talent finally
I don't think The Miz is a weak champion, infact, I think he could be a leading heel for years to come (possibly even a face), but he's been booked very weak and the fact that 60 year old Jerry Lawler is being put over him the last month or so instead of putting him in a program with Cena after the end of a stale Orton feud (not that an interesting Orton feud has happened in years) to try and establish him as a legit butthole who could crank out the wins (He doesn't have to be booked as a monster, but at least give him some wins). I'm not in the business but I could probably book better than the WWE creative, infact, this whole board (including those who see Pro Wrestling no further than that fake crap) could do better.
