Jerrell Whitlock, 26, of Hazelwood, and Precious Gethers, 25, of Carrick, were extradicted from Florida back to Pittsburgh Friday, according to the Post Gazette, in wake of Whitlock's charges of attempted homicide in the stabbing of Steelers offensive tackle Mike Adams. Whitlock and his girlfriend, Gethers, who was apprehended with Whitlock, arrived at Pittsburgh police headquarters on the North Side Friday afternoon. Ms. Gethers faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child and hindering apprehension after sheriff's deputies said she lied about being able to reach Mr. Whitlock when they were searching for him and then fled to northeastern Florida with him and the couple's 3-year-old son.
