My wrestling name is the "PoP Culture Phenom" Nik VanCore, I play a pop star out of canada. I wrestle mostly out of Michigan, From Cadillac all the way down to Detroit. I also wrestle in Indiana, and at some point this year I'll be wrestling in Chicago. Hopefully in the spring, sounds like my trainer and the students are going from New York down the coast to Florida, might be going to the Nasty Boys School. Should be fun. I'm really excited, just need to diet better and really hit the gym hard before that...and get a tan. I'm as white as you get.

I wrestle mostly at UWE in Gladwin/Cadillac. We just had a show November 5th and we drew over 800. It was awesome, but Hacksaw stomped on my gold record and broke it. Now we are going to fued!!!...whenever he comes back lol :icon_smile:

Yeah, youtube I know there is a few online but there is a few promo's too. I am not the worlds greatest wrestler by any means, but im funny. Look up Canadian Hit Squad, you would find a lot more with that probably.

I think you might laugh but it's called the "Future Endeavor" and it's basically a snapmare driver, like I'm going to snapmare them but instead I spike there head ont he mat like a DDT. The best would be searching online for Daizee Hazes "Mind trip" cus that is what it is, because I enjoy stealing my moves from beautiful women.

We all make mistakes. Girls don't mind it but it's supposed to go into a sleeve im going to get done at some point.

Thats freaking sweet me and my friend wrestled as a tag team for a year or two but we didn't ever get very far. Getting your butt kicked by Hacksaw is bad butt...I am jealous

I really enjoy being a tag team wrestler, more so then a singles act TBH. Trust me, a few people were not happy I and my tag partner (who were the champs at the time) was working with Hacksaw. What was your tag team name, what was your worker name?

He (hacksaw) such an awesome dude, He was so funny and humble. Seriously he was so nice.

 

So if I trade you a tshirt or 2 from my camp can you get me a 2x4 signed by Duggan? Or even ask if he'd be willing to donate one to a camp that might raffle it off in the future? But more than likely it'll hang in my office because that's AWESOME! I used to be a semi-writer with OVW but never actually did anything much. I wrote 2 shows back in 1999 and that was fun. But I was goobered and didn't take an offered job. FREAK MY LIFE!

Those are the 2 shows I was privileged enough to write. Why things happened? I have no idea but I got to talk to Rico and Eugene on the phone and that was kind of cool.

 

Hey Duke, I have no way of getting in contact with Hacksaw, I'm not like good friends with him or anything but he seemed pretty cool to where if you emailed him or contacted him on facebook He might be cool enough to do something for you. I have no way of contacting him. Funny story, before the show the promoter bought all this wood and cut it in 2x4's and sold them for 5 bucks. I know this because I made the first two sales before I went backstage. LOL Fans later came and had him sign them though.

About the writing, there is SO MANY wrestling sites out there these days man. If you really want to write you could do it, you just have to get your foot in the door. Hell start your own wrestling insider website, write your own blogs. Then just advertise and promote it. If you wanted to go that route. Personally I can't keep my ADD in check long enough to do that stuff lol. I maybe able to write a book on here but you don't know how many times I got distracted by music, another thread or twitter/facebook lol. Anyways don't beat yourself up about it d00der, we all make mistakes and look back on things we missed, hell I stopped wrestling for over a year and a half because I just hated dealing with stupid backstage BS. Then I got the itch again, my new trainer gave me a shot and took me under his wing and it's been probably better then it ever has been. Sometimes we let things go in order for us to see the greater significance when it comes around a second time. If you REALLY want it, go after it. Never stop going after what makes you happy.

 

I am beyond content right now. I'm a Summer Camp Director and love my life. But getting to write shows was AWESOME and I had a phone interview with Kevin Dunn which was kind of cool. Got offered a position writing with OVW but had to pay for relocation myself and as an 18 year old kid that wasn't going to happen. But I'm glad that you got back into it. Wrestling is hella fun and the people that hate on it can suck a fat one.

 

If you are happy and content then that is all that matters but I bet it was a good time. Yeah when I was 18 I don't think I could of done that either hell right now even I couldn't just relocate just like that, besides too many friends and family here and I'd miss them all greatly.

Wrestling is a lot of fun, I couldn't explain the rush it feels. My favorite part is messing with the fans. I love finding kids in the crowd and picking fights with them, they are always the loudest there so if you piss them off, you know everyone else is going to be pissed at you for picking on kids.

Trust me, I deal with people all the time telling me how "fake" pro wrestling is, and get down on me about it. Some people threw my life have just walked away from me because of it, had gf's leave because of it. It's not all fun and games but I met some really great friends, some amazing people out of it. I have some many road stories and adventures because of it, it really made me explore the world because before wrestling I come from a town where it's very... I don't know not very cultured and heavily white, and when I became able to travel it was the best thing that ever happen to me. Some girls think it's cool, some think your gay or a flammer and if you go to a bar and talk about it, you are sure to have some drunk want to fight you I've learned, or at parties.
