Thomas Jones Leads Balanced Attack In Chiefs' 42-20 Over Jaguars

  1. Thomas Jones rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown and the Kansas City Chiefs downed the Jacksonville Jaguars, 42-20, at Arrowhead Stadium. Matt Cassel played mistake-free and completed 13-of-18 passes for 193 yards with two touchdown passes to Dwayne Bowe, as the Chiefs (4-2) snapped a two- game skid behind a ground game that amassed 236 yards. Bowe ended with 81 yards on three receptions. Todd Bouman, in his first start since January 1, 2006, was solid for the Jaguars (3-4) with 222 yards and two touchdowns on 18-of-34 throws but threw two interceptions, one that Derrick Johnson returned for a touchdown. Maurice Jones-Drew had 121 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown in defeat.
