Forget Black Friday. It’s “MRI Friday†at Reliant Stadium, Gary Kubiak says. “We’ve got some damage this morning, no doubt about that,†Kubiak said at his postgame press briefing. The Texans may be 10-1 after the most remarkable of back-to-back victories ever, both in overtime over Jacksonville and Detroit, but they’re paying the price today. Three players are getting MRIs this morning: Outside linebacker Brooks Reed (groin), inside linebacker Bradie James (hamstring) and right tackle Derek Newton (knee). With Reed and James hurt, the Texans are down four linebackers thanks to Brian Cushing being lost for the season and Tim Dobbins didn’t play at Detroit because of a shoulder injury.
