After watching tonight's game, I'd like your input on the long term value of either DeAngelo Williams and Dion Johnson for team #1 for David Johnson or Matt Jones, and Dion Lewis for David Johnson, Knile Davis or Khiry Robinson on team #2??

    Team #1 (No PPR, 12 Teams): 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 FLEX, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF
    Passing: 6 pts/TD, 1 pt/25 yds,
    Rushing & Receiving: 6 pts/TD, 1 pt/10 yds
    Team #2 - (IDP & PPR, 12 Teams): 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 2 FLEX, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF, 2 IDP
    Passing: 6 pts/TD, 1 pt/25 yds,
    Rushing & Receiving: 6 pts/TD, 1 pt/10 yds, 1 PPR,
    Return: 1 point/20 yds

I did not watch the game so until I do, I will pass on judgement. I always watch the Thursday Nights games on Friday.

I really don't know what you're asking here... long term value of Williams? He's 49 years old... are these keeper leagues? Dynasty?

    Is this a trade?

    Is this another trade?
Dion Lewis for David Johnson, Knile Davis or Khiry Robinson on team #2

Dion Lewis might be a one week wonder - and the Pats backfield is one to avoid - period.

IMO anything that happened with RB on Thursday nights game should be ignored. Both teams were without their starting RB.

Unless you want to start Williams as a spot starter next week, but after that it will be the Bell show.

Anyone remember Jonas Gray? Oh yeah he is not even on the team anymore. I guess Lewis maybe worth an add, but that depends who your dropping and who else is available. Let's not forget Lewis coughed up the ball stuff like that gets put in time out in NE.

Williams will be a good DFS play next week, and a good handcuff to Leveon. If there were to be an injury it appears he will be able to be a 3 down back. But with Bell in front of him, he will just sit on your bench with about 5-7 carries per game.

Dion Lewis is going to be interesting. I was high on him for this game in particular because everything out of the Patriots camp said he was the most impressive. Bellicheck said he wanted to get him involved this week. The matchup made since so I used him for DFS purposes. With Blount set to come back, and I'm assuming Cadet will be back sometime soon too, that backfield will become a typical NE backfield mess that is best avoided. I think Lewis has some great potential to be a Vereen type player in that offense, but like when Vereen was there, entirely matchup dependent. He was a good play vs Pittsburgh because the options were him and Bolden. And Bolden proved he isn't a lead back. (or even a change of pace for that matter. When was the last time you saw Bellicheck forgive a RB for fumbling? Never, probably because Bolden couldn't get past the l.o.s.)

I wouldn't drop/trade anyone you have. They have higher potential and the same problem as the other two guys, someone in front of them. I think Jones and Johnson have a better opportunity to become the lead guy than Williams or Lewis.
