The 8-5 Chiefs still control their destiny with regards to the division race because they have a game lead over the 7-6 Chargers. The Chiefs still win the division if they win their final three games of the season but if the Chargers win their final three games and finish at 10-6, they would win the tiebreaker over the Chiefs, assuming they win two of their final three games and also finish 10-6. The Chargers would have the tiebreaker based on a better record in AFC West games or in common opponents depending on which of their three remaining opponents the Chiefs lose to. So, assuming the Chargers win their final three games, a reasonable assumption given their opponents are the 49ers, Bengals and Broncos, the Chiefs had better win their final three games against a better slate of opponents: Rams, Titans and Raiders. The faiders game is the only 1 that concerns me. we have lost 2 the faiders at home for 3 years in a row now.
I can see the Chiefs losing to any of those teams. The Rams have been great at home, the Titans have a running game the Chiefs should be afraid of, and the Raiders always seem to bring it to them. The Chiefs are going to need to be more consistant then they have been in the past few games to have a chance holding off the Chargers.
lol "more consistant than the past few games"...just b4 this yesterdays loss, we won 3 in arow. 1 ackward injury and we are in a tail spin lol Cassel shouldnt have a hard time against the 26th ranked offense Rams. 4 the most part the Rams have had cupcake teams to show up at their home...and as 4 the titans, they are every1s cure 2 for a bounce back game (sry SRW). Oakland is the 1 game that is going 2 be a dogfight.
Outside of destroying the Seahawks and Cardinals, the Chiefs have been hit or miss. Beating the Broncos isn't much because they are a horrible team. They barely beat Buffalo before losing to the Raiders and Broncos. So as I said, the need to play like they did in the beginning of the season or else it's no playoffs. Crennel and Weis better come up with better game plans then this week.
The Ravens barley beat the Bills the week b4. The Chiefs just need #7 back on the field 2 get things moving back in the right direction. We played Indy and the Texans tough...and as far as the other losses in Oakland and Denver, its vary hard 2 beat these teams on the road (especially Denver). Weis did call a bad game yesterday against the volts.
Not going to be easy...especially if Cassel can't play again Sunday....but yeah, of course the Chargers are favored....they always are...but they have the easiest remaining schedule now....if we don't make the playoffs, it's our own fault...Brodie Croyle sucks butt...always has, always will...I don't know why he's even still on the roster. And our defense didn't even show up yesterday...most disgusting game I've seen in a long time.
I've heard Cassel will be back to play at St. Louis...if he's not, they better start Tyler Palko...anyone is better than Croyle.
ive had a surgery similar 2 this. and you can still feel your stitches after 8 days. but after that things start 2 feel better.
eh, the chargers are so freaking erratic, who knows what the hell they're going to do. they could win their next 2 games by 40 pts each and then lose their last game of the season by 50 and lose the division. for the chiefs fans who are already chalking up the rams game on sunday as a win, be careful. the rams at home are a better team than the chiefs are on the road. the chiefs will need some breaks to win that one.
