    Tigers won game 1 and Verlander is starting tonight. He's been shaky this year so it's hard to call out a win today. I'm thinking the A's win tonight.

    Sonny Gray outduels Verlander? Seriously?

    I think how far the Tigers go in this series depends on the health of one Miguel Cabrera. From what I hear, he hasn't been 100% in weeks.

    Cabrera has been hurt the last two months of the season and sat out games down the stretch once the Tigers made the playoffs.

    Both starters had great games last night, the A's just got the hits when it mattered.
