Saying that Titans tight end Craig Stevens has big shoes to fill next season doesn't quite tell the whole story. Big shoes, massive shoulder pads and a king-size pair of pants probably would be a more accurate way to describe what's been left behind following the departure of mammoth tight end Alge Crumpler. Tight ends coach John Zernhelt said the team is confident that Stevens can be their blocking tight end this season. "Alge had blossomed late in his career to become such a solid blocker for us, but Craig through all of this was equally up to the task. What probably gave the edge to Alge was his experience. Craig, mentally and physically, we feel real confident with him. … He is a solid blocking tight end for us. We're a team that runs the football and so we feel comfortable that he can do what we ask of him this fall," Zernhelt said. Source: The Tennessean
