Drew Rosenhaus, agent for Tennessee Titans DE Jevon Kearse, reports on his Twitter page that he has approached the Titans about a contract extension for Kearse. Kearse signed a two-year, $6 million deal, with a $1.3 million signing bonus last March. Source: RosenhausSports Twitter
an extension? um, if you're saying you want an extension because you think you want to play until you're 35 years old and you just want to make sure you retire as a Titan and those are the main reasons, then I'm fine with it. However, if this is another Rosenhaus blackmail job and they're trying to hold a team hostage for more money then I think they're going to be sorely disappointed because the Titans aren't likely to pay much more than the $3 mill/yr they're already paying for a 33-year old defensive end with diminished skills.
