Safety Michael Griffin produced one of the bigger plays of the game against the Jaguars with an interception in the end zone. It remains to be seen if it came in his last game as a Titan at LP Field. Griffin, one of more than 20 Titans scheduled to become free agents, created a bit of a stir on Saturday morning when he tweeted “My Last Game at LP Field. Got to make it a good one.†After the Titans beat the Jaguars 23-17, Griffin said it was a misunderstanding. “I did not mean it to come off that way,†he said. “I should have said ‘last game for the season’ and I just forgot. I didn’t think about it being the last game until someone asked me the question. Everybody has been asking me that question.†After the game, Griffin apologized via Twitter, saying he needs to proof his tweets next time. Source: The Tennessean
