Titans Meet With Free Agent QB Peyton Manning For Nearly Seven Hours

Peyton Manning, after spending the better part of 7 hours inside of Baptist Sports Park, has left the building. John Glennon reported that the team has said there will be no statement tonight, but apparently Peyton is heading back to North Carolina. The biggest news to come out of all of this is that Burton Elrod, the Titans team doctor, spent more than an hour inside the facility. That would mean that Peyton got some type of physical from the team tonight. It has not seen it reported that he met with the doctors of any of the other teams he visited.

I think it would be awesome if he signed there. Would really help Jake Locker too.

Well, I think he's very good at the forward pbutt. It would be neato to be able to throw like him.

Hasselbeck gets released obviously. Had a decent 2011 sans injuries, he'll serve the backup role for a young QB or a struggling one

 

There is no such thing as a struggling QB.

QBs are just trying to rally the team around them.

 

i wasn't sure if peyton would want to embarass Irsay, Wayne, and Mathis twice a year .......... apparently he has no problem with it.

 

I hear the governor of Tennessee called yesterday to talk him into signing with the Titans.
