Titans owner Bud Adams was in Nashville on Thursday at a grand opening event at Baptist Hospital and was quoted as saying he believes Vince Young can still be a great NFL quarterback. "Yeah. Vince Young I think is going to be a great quarterback. You know (Kerry) Collins is looking very good, though. Vince has said he's learned a lot from Collins, so I think it is going to work out pretty good.'' It's been rumored that Adams pushed for the team to draft Young despite Jeff Fisher and the Titans staff wanting to draft USC QB Matt Leinart in the 2006 NFL Draft.
