With the Titans on a six-game losing streak and on the verge of elimination from the playoff race for the fifth time in seven years, head coach Jeff Fisher's future is as cloudy as it's ever been. Players know there's only one way they can help their coach — win games — but many admit other factors about his status will come into play, and they're not sure even a three-game win streak to close the season will guarantee anything. Fisher's contract expires after the 2011 season, and he has said he would like to remain with the Titans. Owner Bud Adams, however, told The Tennessean last week he's "not happy" and plans to evaluate the NFL's longest tenured coach at the end of the season. Nonetheless, players said they hope to do their part for Fisher. "It is better than the alternative, you know what I am saying?'' quarterback Kerry Collins said. "Would it help Jeff if we won out? I don't know. But I do know everyone here respects Jeff and hopes he's back, and if we can do something to help that happen in any way, great. But to be honest, we are trying to turn this thing around not necessarily for Jeff's job, but for everybody. If we can find a way to end the season on a high note, hopefully it will make (Adams') decision easier, and make him happier. We'll see.''

Besides most of the fans wanting Fisher out, I don't think he wants to be there either.
