Running back Chris Johnson finished with 117 yards on 28 carries in the Titans’ 47-7 mashing of the St. Louis Rams, and remains on pace to reach the 2,000-yard plateau for the season and with three games remaining, Johnson needs 374 to reach 2,000 yards and 480 yards to eclipse Eric twinkyerson’s single-season record of 2,105 yards. Johnson now has eight consecutive 100-yard rushing game, eclipsing the seven in a row he shared with Hall of Famer Earl Campbell. Johnson also surpassed Campbell’s franchise record for most yards from scrimmage (1,981) as he now has 2,017 yards between rushing and receiving this season and is within range of Marshall Faulk’s NFL record of 2,429 yards with three games to play, becoming only the fifth back in NFL history to reach 2,000 yards from scrimmage in 13 games.

Thing about Johnson when compared to Simpson, twinkyerson, et al, is that everything he does looks so effortless. And whatever he calls that move where straightens a leg behind him to avoid a low tackle is awesome.
