Titans RB Chris Johnson Needs 14 Yards To Avoid $300K Hit To Salary

    There’s more than a playoff berth on the line for running back Chris Johnson against the Texans. The game could be worth $300,000 to him. In the four-year extension he signed in April was a clause that stated his 2012 salary would decrease from $8 million to $7.7 million if he failed to reach 1,000 yards in 2011. He needs 14 yards on Sunday to reach 1,000 for the season. Johnson could be slowed early this week because of his sore ankle, Munchak said.
