Wide receiver Chris Davis has been re-signed by the Tennessee Titans to help with their return game. Davis was waived in training camp a few days after being arrested by Nashville Metro Police on Aug. 22 while the Titans were in Dallas for a preseason game, and he was out of the lineup with a hamstring injury. Davis, a fourth-round pick in 2007 out of Florida State, had played well during organized team activities and looked to be solidly in the mix for the kickoff and punt return jobs with the Titans as well as perhaps earning playing time at wide receiver.
