Titans: The Worst 8-0 Team In History?

Sure, its like talking about the least attractive supermodel youve had s*x with or the dumbest brain surgeon. But after years of promising starts by dominant teams like the Colts and Patriots, maybe its time to turn to the Tennessee Titans, halfway to perfection, and just ask, Really? You guys are the best team in the NFL? Because it sure seems like of all the 8-0 teams the NFL has seen throughout the years, theyre the least impressive and the most unlikely to win the Super Bowl.

I'm sure the Titans don't mind running under the radar, just keep thinking they ain't crap as the hoist the SB trophy, I'm sure that's what they're thinking.

The Packers played a great game against the Titans and lost because they couldn't stop the run. The Bears stopped the run and lost because they couldn't stop the pbutt. Point is, I do not think the Titans are the worse 10-0 team in history, because they are NOT one dimensional.... I will actually go as fas as to say that the Patriots were the worst 16-0 team last season as they were one dimensional. All you have to do is look at this season. Granted they don't have Brady, but they still have Moss, and he is a game breaker on his own. Also the rest of the team is pretty much the same. The only way to argue is to say they were guilty of spygate!

 

titans are a good team but hardly great, they do finish games though you got to give them credit...theres no way in hell they finish undefeated and honestly i dont think they are the best team at all and will get knocked out of the playoffs relatively early. they stick to their game and finish strong, no question they are a respectable team just not a great team imo

 

Hey, if they are able to beat the Chiefs 2 years in a row they are the best ever...

they run and play defense. when the run stops, collins manages the game and doesn't make they key mistake. thay's how you win games. simple.

 

I wasn't convinced Tennessee couldn't go deep into the playoffs until against the Bears when Kerry Collins showed that apparently he apparently DOES have amnesia. The guy has completely put his past behind him and has gone out and made plays, I've gained respect back for this guy. For real.

So what if they don't put up 40 points a game, they beat you with the basics, and if you dare stop the basics, they have a veteran that can get the job done.

 

As I said, let people think they aren't good, see what happens.

 

I suppose the next few weeks will tell. The Jets game should be interesting - and the week after they play Detroit. If Detroit beats Tennessee then "yes" they most certainly ARE the worst 10 -0 team in history. However, I seriously don't see that happening. The Titans still need to get past the Jets, the Colts and the Steelers. Personally I think we are going to see some kick butt football!!!

Titans have already beaten the Colts once. I don't understand the hate for this team, they are the most understated team, for the most part the players aren't bolsterous, arrogant hecks that scream and rant about how good they are, they are coached by a very good coach who just knows what he's doing and they don't guarantee wins, I'd love for them to beat the Jets only because I hate Brett Favre...

 

Hey Sweets - I'm totally with you!! If they were a bunch of buttholes either patting themselves on the back, getting fined or in trouble with the law - you can bet your butt we'd be hearing about them. The fact that they seem to be a pretty humble, quiet bunch has kept them flying under the radar. I'd bet they like it there!
