The Titans are rather young at running back; fifth-year reserve Alvin Pearman, 27, is the group's oldest member. And no fewer than three undrafted rookies — Oregon's LeGarrette Blount, USC's Stafon Johnson and East Carolina's Dominique Lindsay — are among the five backs vying for roster spots behind starter Chris Johnson. Titans RBs coach Kennedy Pola told PFW he likes the rookies' athleticism and approach to the game. "They're all eager," Pola said of the rookies, who had a two-day orientation the weekend after the draft. "They did a nice job. It was good challenging them, and they really responded well." Blount, infamous for punching a Boise State player in 2009, impressed Pola with his ability to catch the ball and the way he has moved past the incident. "In my meetings, I thought the young man was outstanding," Pola said. He noted that Blount, who played in spread offenses both at Oregon and East Mississippi Community College, is adjusting to running behind a fullback and not playing in a shotgun-based attack.
