The Titans have talked to several NFL teams regarding struggling receiver Kenny Britt, according to sources with knowledge of the situation, but have been attempting to get a third-round pick for him, or a combination of picks equal to a third rounder, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports. Other clubs have found that price to be high, sources said, with them viewing Britt, given his off-field issues, expiring contract and lack of any recent production as valued more like a fifth-round pick. Source: The Redzone SteveRobWhatever's Take: I think the Titans might be asking for too much for Britt here. Either way, the sooner they can find a sucker, er, buyer for Britt's services the better. This is a relationship that needs to end. Britt's had too much negativity in Tennessee and at this point the situation is beyond repair. He needs a fresh start somewhere else to realize his potential.
what they want and what they will get are 2 different things. in reality, if britt wasn't so brittle and injured all the time, they would be able to get more for the guy. of course, somehow amendola and austin are managing to cash huge paychecks so maybe there will be a market for britt.
