If you're looking for hotly contested position battles this summer, the Titans' training camp isn't the place to look, the way we hear it, with few, if any, starting spots up for grabs. First-round pick Kenny Britt will fight for playing time at receiver, though we're hearing it is unlikely he will beat out veterans Justin Gage or Nate Washington for a starting job right off the bat, after Gage played well last season and Washington signed a six-year, $27 million contract in the offseason. Also, the competition at defensive tackle is expected to be strong among expected starters Tony Brown and Jason Jones, veterans Jovan Haye and Kevin Vickerson, and rookie Sen'Derrick Marks.

there really shouldn't be many battles. after they went through a huge rebuild of their roster with youth for a few years, they should be pretty settled at most spots for a little while until it's time for the next massive rebuild, which is what they like to do.
