By hitting escalators in their rookie contracts, receiver Damian Williams and cornerback Alterraun Verner both earned significant raises for 2013.

Williams and Verner are now scheduled to make $1,323 million this fall after initially being scheduled to make $575,000 as part of their rookie contracts.

Williams, a third round pick in 2010, has played in 44 games over the past three NFL seasons, with 91 catches for 1,135 yards and five touchdowns.

Verner, a fourth round pick in ’10, has played in 48 games, with 31 starts. He has 171 career tackles with six interceptions.

Speaking of Verner, I wonder what the Titans will offer him this year? Its known theyd like to re-sign him.
