According to multiple Twitter reports, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt was directly involved in a fight that occurred early Friday morning at the Nashville Club Karma. At about 1:45 a.m., 26-year-old Harold Pointer was drinking at the bar, according to Metro police. Police said 29-year-old Bradford Miser went up and punched him, then the two men started fighting and went down to the ground. That's when, police said, Britt joined Miser and started throwing punches at Pointer. When police arrived, Pointer was advised of his rights and said he did not want to press charges. Fisher is saying from the information he has gathered that Britt was more of a peacemaker and helping break it up. He followed that up saying that if he finds out that he was involved any further that he told the coaches and players that Britt will sit.
Horsecrap IMO. Either you think he is innocent and was just being a good citizen breaking up the fight and you don't discipline him at all. OR you think he is guilty of bar fighting in which case you sit him. This Braylon Edward's treatment makes Fischer look like an asshat.
Truth be told, I'm sick of the NFL letting this crap happen and not doing anything about it. Not "starting" him but letting him play, if kind of garbage. The NFL wants to crack down on the hits that happen on the field but turn a blind eye to what happens off. If you're arrested, you need to be suspended for AT LEAST one game and not paid for that game. They let Braylon walk, they let Vince walk and now Kenny Britt isn't really being punished. And a find isn't punishing. If the NFL is so concerned with image, they need to change that and quick.
