The Arizona Cardinals are reported to be hiring Todd Bowles of the Philadelphia Eagles, electing to part ways with defensive coordinator Ray Horton.

According to Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports, Ray Horton is the first casualty of head coach Bruce Arians arriving in Arizona. Following the hiring of Arians as head coach earlier Thursday night, there were rumors that Horton could be a on the outs, with a familiar face filling the role of defensive coordinator.

Both coached in Cleveland from 2001-03. Arians was the Browns' offensive coordinator, while Bowles was the team's defensive nickel coach.
