Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning made some history on Thursday and Tom Brady followed him up by making a little history of his own on Sunday. With 288 passing yards in New England's 23-21 win over Buffalo, Brady became just the ninth player in NFL history to reach 45,000 passing yards. Brady finished the game with a career total of 45,094 yards. Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel -- who's thrown for 150 career yards -- almost spoiled Brady's milestone by leading Buffalo to an upset of the Patriots. A Manuel-to-Stevie Johnson touchdown pass put the Bills on top 21-17 in the third quarter and Buffalo stayed in the lead until Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski hit a 35-yard go-ahead field goal with five seconds left in the game.
