A disappointed New England Patriots QB Tom Brady said he had a restless night on Sunday agonizing over the mistakes made in a 28-21 playoff loss to the New York Jets on Sunday. His biggest regret? Not being able to make the trash-talking Jets regret their words. "When you've had a good year, you can say whatever you want to say," Brady said. "I wish we won, to shut 'em up, but we didn't." Jets CB Antonio Cromartie profanely described Brady in the days leading up to the game, and Jets LB Bart Scott mocked the Patriots on the field after the game. New England WR Deion Branch called the actions of some of the Jets "classless", but Brady shrugged off the off-field antics amid his disappointment. "I really don't care the way they act," Brady said, via SportsRadioInterviews.com. "I really don't. I'm really proud of the way our guys conduct ourselves. I think we're going to continue to go out there and work our butts off to be back next year with as much focus and determination as we had this year." Source: USA Today
So now he knows how it feels to be mocked after a loss.. I remember a time when the Pats beat the Chargers and they did the "lights out" move after the game... Payback is a snitch!
Maybe Brady needs to spend less time on his hair transplant and more time studying his plays like Manning...and oh by the way....is there a difference between Brady's onfield taunting and the JETS off field taunting?
Me too Tom me too. maybe Ryan was right, Brady should have watched the game instead of going to a Broadway show lol.
Hey Tom, what goes around comes around...your team talked plenty crap while winning now you should be able to take others crap talking like a man or just maybe you're a cross dressing imposter.
Well, it makes you wonder though. Teach Tom Terrific some humility and give him an off season to watch film of this whole year and also give him some drive and I think you have a HELL of a season next year. Which is kind of funny because this past season was one hell of a season. While no Vince Lombardi trophy there's no way he doesn't bring home the MVP. At least he'll be starting against Mike Vick in the Pro Bowl. :(
hmmmmm....there will now be a 6th new winner of the super bowl since the team that's been picked to win it seemingly every year has....I am one Steeler fan that's pretty happy he didn't shut the Jets up.
