If Brandon Lloyd wants to reunite with Josh McDaniels and sign with the New England Patriots, then agent Tom Condon will apparently work toward that end, says the Boston Herald. Condon apparently has not worked with the Patriots directly in seven years since intense negotiations involving tight end Ben Watson. "We pretend there are 31 franchises in the NFL now and they pretend we don’t exist, even though we represent 140 (now over 160) of the best players in the NFL. That’s fine,†Condon once said of the Patriots. Lloyd has a particular interest in reuniting with McDaniels, who was his head coach in Denver and helped to bring him to St. Louis via a trade last year after McDaniels resurfaced as offensive coordinator there. McDaniels signed on with the Patriots for the postseason after the Rams opted not to retain him. “As I told him last night,†Condon said, “if he wants to go to the team that pays him the most money, wonderful. If he wants to go to a team that pays him less but where he feels there’s better opportunity for success, wonderful. He’ll make that decision.â€
