From Rotoworld: Giants coach Tom Coughlin confirmed he expects Victor Cruz (knee) to be ready for the team’s offseason program. Cruz underwent arthroscopic surgery on Thursday, but the procedure was minor enough that he shouldn’t have any issues getting cleared for offseason workouts and is on track to participate in the Giants’ late-spring minicamp. Rueben Randle will replace Cruz in the starting lineup for the final two games of the regular season, with Jerrel Jernigan playing in the slot. From Paul Schwartz of the NY Post: Indeed, by having the surgery now Cruz is expected to be healed by the start of the Giants’ offseason program. The procedure also was minor enough that he should be able to participate in the team’s late-spring minicamp. Tom Coughlin was asked his thoughts on Cruz’ injury and the rehabilitation process associated with it… “Very unfortunate. Victor was having a good year,” said Coughlin. “It would have been great to have him for these last two games.
