The Miami Dolphins could possibly get defensive end Phillip Merling back from a torn left Achilles' tendon suffered before training camp. Merling might be able to return to practice soon as he comes off the reserve/non-football injury list. "When it first happened, I thought it was over," Merling said. "I just kept on pushing and pushing and pushing and pushing, and the opportunity has come. Hopefully, I can take advantage of this."
