OLB: 1. Von Miller (Texas a&m) Prediction: 2nd overall Where I would take him: 1st Miller has rare pass rush ability off the edge. He is athletic as they come. A negative on him is he sometimes doesn't finish the QB as well as he needs too. 2. Martez Wilson (Illinois) Prediction: round 2 Where I would take him: 2nd Wilson knows how to shed blocks and make tackles. He lacks strength at the POA though which is why I think he is best at OLB, where I have him here. 3. Brooks Reed (Arizona) Prediction: 28th overall Where I would take him: 2nd Reed has a great motor. He must wrap up the QB better and develop that "killer instinct" a little bit more. 4. Akeem Ayers (UCLA) Prediction: 2nd round Where I would take him: ? Ayers is a versatile prospect who can play almost any LB position. He lacks great instincts and athleticism but he can rush the passer and is a smart player. 5. Bruce Carter (UNC) Prediction: 2nd round Where I would take him: 2nd-3rd round Carter has amazing athletic ability and is truly a sideline to sideline guy. His biggest problem is he is more of a drag down tackler and doesn't hit with alot of power. 6. Mason Foster (Washington) Prediction: 3rd round Where I would take him: 3rd-4th Foster has great instincts and fights off blockers well. However, He doesn't have elite athleticism so he may have to move to MLB. 7. Dontay Moch (Nevada) Prediction: 3rd Where I would take him: 3rd-4th Speed, speed, speed. His biggest problem is he isn't strong at the poa. He should make a nice 3-4 OLB though. 8. KJ Wright (Miss. St.) Prediction: 4th Where I would take him: ? Wright has everything you look for in a LB except elite athleticism. 9. Chris Carter (Fresno St.) Prediction: 4th Where I would take him: ? Carter is a 3-4 OLB. He needs work in coverage though he is a great pass rusher. 10. Lawrence Wilson (UConn) Prediction: 4th Where I would take him: ? Wilson is athletic but lacks physicality. MLB: 1. Quan Sturdivant (UNC) Prediction: 2nd Where I would take him: ? He can play MLB and OLB. He is productive and just a good player. His weakness is lack of elite athleticism. 2. Kelvin Sheppard (LSU) Prediction: 4th Where I would take him: 3rd Sheppard is an explosive LB with great speed who is strong. He has everything you look for in a MLB and can play OLB if needed. He needs to trust his instincts more though. 3. Colin Mccarthy (Miami U.) Prediction: 3rd Where I would take him: ? Mccarthy is smart and a physical player. What he lacks is elite athletic ability. 4. Casey Matthews (Oregon) Prediction: 3rd- 4th Where I would take him: 4th Matthews is a smart player who is physical and gets off blocks well. He isn't very athletic though and his best fit is probably in a 3-4. 5. Greg Jones (Michigan St.) Prediction: 3rd-4th Where I would take him: ? He is a great leader and is solid everywhere. He doesn't have great athleticism though. 6. Mark Herzlich (Boston College) Prediction: 4th Where I would take him: ? He has struggled with injuries and cancer. It seems to have sapped his athletic ability to play anything but 3-4 ILB. He is a great player other than that though and really knows how to tackle and is a smart player. 7. Nate Irving (NC State) Prediction: 4th Where I would take him: 4th Irving has great instincts but has poor athletic ability. 8. Akeem Dent (UGA) Prediction: 4th Where I would take him: ? has average size and athleticism but his instincts and tackling ability is great. 9. Josh Bynes (Auburn) Prediction: 5th Where I would take him: 4th Bynes leadership ability and ability to flow donwfield are great. He struggles with sometimes over pursuing. 10. Chris White (Miss. St.) Prediction: 5th-6th Where I would take him: ? He struggles with athleticism but the guy has everything else you look for in a LB.
