Toronto Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista has been ruled out for the remainder of the season because of his injured hip. The Blue Jays announced their decision Wednesday on Twitter, saying that Bautista will be ready for spring training next year. Bautista, who turns 33 next month, has been sidelined with a bone bruise in his hip since Aug. 20. The injury-plagued outfielder has appeared in just 210 games over the past two seasons. Bautista had 28 home runs and 73 RBIs in 118 games this season. The four-time All-Star has 152 homers and 365 RBIs over the past four seasons. Source: ESPN
