Ok, I want some opinions on a trade I was just offered. I was just offered Edgerrin James, Matt Cassel, and Derek Anderson in exchange for Kurt Warner and Ronnie Brown. I was going to sit on this trade offer for a day or two but I want some opinions like I said. The more I actually think about it, i'm actually thinking reject because both the TD Pass/INT ratio for both Anderson and Cassel is not that impressive compared to Kurt Warner's. Anderson: 3 TD passes, 6 INTs Cassel: 3 TD passes, 3 INTs Warner: 10 TD passes, 4 INTs Now, in this league, my record is 1-4 and the team that offered me this trade is 4-1. If there is anyone that thinks I should accept this trade, please explain to me why. If I were to accept this trade, theres no guarantee it would go through anyway because the commish has to power to veto trades in this league.
Terrible offer for you. Warner is a very good fantasy QB, and Brown has more value than Edge, since Brown has been a fairly safe start and Edge at best splits a little time with Hightower and Arrington(who looks good every time he touches the ball, but never gets any carries). I would decline it but that's just me, maybe unless its a keeper league and you have faith in Anderson being a stud next year.
terrible offer for your team, dude is just trying to secure up his weakest position by giving you his trash, I would be willing to bet that edge doesn't even start for his team and he is trying to steal ronnie brown from you too. i would reject that crap in a heartbeat
Trade offically REJECTED. I was talking with my best friend who also happens to be the commish for this league and he strongly advised me to reject this trade offer too. Another thing he told me about the person that offered me this trade is this person only cares about trades that will benefit him and not the person he's trying to work a trade with. Out of the people that propose trades to me, this person bugs me the most and usually nine time out of ten, the trade offer is garbage. If I were to come up with a counter trade offer that benefits us both, chances are he would reject the trade anyway because I did this a few times in fantasy baseball with the same person and he would reject my counter offers even though they would seem more fair then the offer he puts on the table. Guess what, if he wants me to accept the trade, make me an offer that will benefit us both and not just your butt. Thats why I reject most of this person's trade offers.
Chances are this trade would have been vetoed anyway. Then the commish tells me that he would have been hated for vetoing the trade, I said I don't give a crap, lol. He's already vetoed one trade this year and one person wasn't all too happy.
Before the season started, another person offered me the Chicago Bears Adrian Pederson in exchange for Carson Palmer. Well, it turns out that person was just with freaking the people in this league and actually expected these garbage offers to be rejected.
