We're heading into the third week of the season, and the running back Willis McGahee trade rumors persist. This time Adam Schefter stirred the pot during ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown," a couple hours before the start of yesterday's Ravens-Bengals matchup. It all started when Schefter said the Green Bay Packers were interested in Bills running back Marshawn Lynch after losing their own starting back, Ryan Grant, to an ankle injury for the season. Continuing on, the ESPN analyst said McGahee would be another option for the Packers because the Ravens are offering him to "anyone" for a draft pick. Source: BaltimoreRavens.com
I don't like it. **********Automerged Doublepost********** I don't like it - Willis would be a lot more effective for us if he were actually part of the game plans... which have sucked by the way.
if the article is true and the ravens are just looking for some sort of draft pick for him, the packers would be stupid not to do it. dude has enough legs left to help them get through this season at least.
lynch, mchgahee or brandon jacobs seem to be on the block if somone overpays a draft pick. the packers do not do that... id say a third round pick is as high as they would offer.
i agree. i would only give a 4th or 5th for any of those guys but, at this point, i think the ravens would entertain it for mcgahee so the packers should be working on it.
