The Florida Highway patrol reports a pickup truck belonging to Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline was found abandoned after a crash on Interstate 595 earlier this month according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. The 2008 Ford pickup truck had to be towed away and the Highway Patrol is investigating who was driving the truck at the time of the crash. Just after 4:30 am July 3rd, the pickup truck collided with an abandoned 2002 Cadillac Escalade on Interstate 595 just east of Interstate 95. "His vehicle ran off road and hit the parked car," said FHP Sgt. Mark Wysocky. "We don't know who was driving the vehicle." A trooper went to the Hartlines home and spoke to a woman who was staying there but she told the trooper to contact Hartline's wife, who was in California, the troopers left a message with her, the call was returned by Hartline's attorney. The Highway Patrol has not heard from Hartline regarding the crash and a Dolphins spokesman said the team was unaware of the incident and would not comment immediately. Source: Sun-Sentinel.com
