Anderson Silvas corner kept screaming at him to start acting like, well, Anderson Silva. UFC president Dana White said he thought he was in an alternate universe and wanted someone to slap him out of this bad dream. At the end of the first round of their UFC 90 main event, Patrick Cote, after watching Silva bizarrely bow to him, shrugged in bafflement.

    He does need a challenge.

He needs to start fighting the top talent in the weight classes above, and below him.

Bring GSP upto 185. I seriously think that would be Silva's worst nightmare.

When that match happens it's gonna make more money than any other fight in the history of the UFC.

    I can't wait...

GSP's wrestling is the best in the UFC atm. After Penn/GSP II, SIlva GSP would be my next favorite fight.

I put that fight into consideration Garnett.

The Silva vs GSP fight will earn even more money than Penn vs GSP II.

And that fight is going to be probably the highest grossing event in UFC history.

It's a ways down the road because GSP needs to defend his belt against several guys, hopefully Spider sticks around long enough for it to happen.

I think the point of this thread is that Dana needs to make it happen before Silva retires.

Silva/GSP is not going to be the highest grossing MMA event solely for 1, Lesnar/Couture. Sadly, I think that will sell really well.

    Ugh, forgot about that one.

    You are probably right.
