Has there ever been a team from both the NFC and AFC at 10-0 before?

I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but is this the closest the NFL has ever come?

Without looking it up... has to of, no chance this is the closest it's ever been, and no chance it ever happens.

    The thought is disgusting.

    I find it rather intriguing.

One team finally runs the table with a 16 week schedule, and another gets their dreams crushed.

Yea but it would mean the league sucked butt as a whole and was butt lopsided which makes suck butt football.

I dont think both teams make it to the superbowl undefeated. Good chance its them but there not gonna both be undefeated.

    SweetShot03 Fuck stupid people

in all honesty I dont see either one making the Superbowl. Both teams have come very close to losing against teams they shouldnt need their first string players.

They played well this week but I dont see them keeping it up.

it would make for an interesting SB. if they could get hot down the stretch (like they arent now). but stay focused. i think it could happen. Indy has beaten the best teams. and i think New Orleans would just have 2 get past da Vikings.

I R here to eat my words. I was trying to find another year where a team from the NFC and AFC was 10-0 and after scanning through all the more obvious looking years and looking up about 15 years total I could find no such thing, meaning it's a lot rarer than I thought.

That's why I brought it up.

I can't ever remember this happening.

Just food for thought, this is an NFL forum after all, I have to post something besides funny pictures every once in awhile.

i think it was just 2 years ago that when the Pats and Cowboys played each other that it was the farthest that 2 undefeated played against each other...and they were both 5-0 then i think?

    Inclulbus WE ARE! .. Marshall!

this is the most messed up thing to say.. because it's not true in the least. We all perceive this as that way, but some of the worst teams have the best players. Perfect example, The Rams and Stephen Jackson.. that one dude could easily win a game by himself.. as bad as that sounds. But the game is played every Sunday, because anything could, and will happen. Look at Raiders vs Bengals, Chiefs vs Steelers, Cowboys vs Rams last season.. Any Given Sunday. Sure the Colts are playing great team football and making plays to win games at the end, as are the Saints.. but if they would have lost to Tampa today, I would have not been surprised. Why? because the dudes on the teams that suck.. get paid to play the game, and they are the teams with the players who have the most heart.. winning a game like that, is their Super Bowl. So saying they shouldnt need their first string players, i know what youre saying, ive said it too.. but I feel people need to start respecting the lower tier teams, cause especially down the stretch, these are the teams thats going to heck up playoff pictures with wins over teams they " shouldnt " even compete with.

    and to stay on topic..

I dont see these teams going undefeated to SB, I could see them going undefeated though. I think Saints still got Pats and Us left to play as our toughest, Colts not too many tough ones left, maybe Jags..

well, i suppose it could happen. we weren't sure if we'd ever see 16-0 and 0-16 regular seasons and we've seen both over the past few years so you never know i guess ...........

I don't know who the first to speculate about this was, but this is the earliest time I can find on the internet:
