    First Five Rounds of the 2011 UFL Draft

    These players can still sign with NFL teams. If they sign with the UFL team that drafts them, they can opt out of the contract up until the UFL season starts in August. Once the season starts, then the player is in the UFL for the full season. After the season ends (in October,) the player can return to the NFL.

    And there is no longer a fee for the rights to a UFL player to go to the NFL.

    Yes. They could opt out of the UFL deal before the UFL Season starts. Once it begins,they're stuck there until the season is over in October.
