Fox Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer is reporting on Twitter that USC athletic director Pat Haden flew to Denver two weeks ago and interviewed Jack Del Rio for their head coaching job. The interview was ironically the day before John Fox had his incident.

SteveRobWhatever's Take: Del Rio seems to be in the running along with Texas A&M's Kevin Sumlin, Vanderbilt’s James Franklin and Washington’s Steve Sarkisian and Ed Orgereon to name a few. USC is willing to shell out a reported $6M deal for their new head man. I personally don't see what Del Rio has done to earn the position, but it's USC's money to spend.
