Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield's broken right hand was quite swollen after the team's 37-34 victory over Green Bay on Sunday—a game Winfield was able to start but had to leave. Winfield tried to play Sunday but couldn’t jam or re-route receivers, nor could he make a tackle without the hand affecting his play. With his hand swelling up, he sat out the second half. Winfield insists he'll play in Saturday night's wild-card game against the Packers at Lambeau Field. Coach Leslie Frazier said Winfield is “day-to-day†and indicated he’ll have a harder time playing on a short week. Source: Sporting News
