  1. The Vikings and interim head coach Leslie Frazier reportedly met for five hours on Friday to discuss Frazier's future with the franchise. If the Vikings retain Frazier and shed his "interim" label, they won't have to interview any other candidates in order to abide by the Rooney Rule, which mandates that NFL teams interview at least one minority candidate for head coaching positions. The Vikings need to act fast, because if they look elsewhere for their next head coach, they could lose Frazier shortly after the regular season concludes because of this very rule. Frazier sports a 3-2 record as Minnesota's head coach, and the team has played hard for him in the latter stages of their lost season. The next question is whether Frazier retains offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, who employs the West Coast offense, and according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, if Bevell stays, it will be impossible to rule out another “this is my last year, and I mean it this timeâ€￾ return from Brett Favre, especially if a work stoppage wipes out the entire offseason program and/or training camp, despite Favre proclaiming throughout 2010 that his 20th season will be his last.
