Vikings starting defensive tackle Kevin Williams didn't sustan a serious injury to his knee when he got hit by San Francisco 49ers offensive guard Joe Looney. The Vikings announced there's no ligament damage, but it's unclear when he'll return. “Kevin Williams suffered a hyperextension injury to his right knee in last night’s football game,†Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said in a statement. “An MRI exam today revealed a significant bone contusion as well as a posterior capsular strain. Kevin was fortunate in that there was no injury to any of his ligaments.†Source: National Football Post

Looney said he was playing through the whistle and didn't mean to go low...... Gimme a friggin break man. That's exactly what he chose to do
if he was a smaller guy I can somewhat see doing that but he was the same size, almost, as Williams. Go face up with the guy.
That's gotta be one of the worst hyper-extended, non-ligament damaging knee shots that I've ever seen.
