The Vikings placed Harvin on injured reserve Wednesday with an ankle injury that never recovered. Reports suggested Harvin suffered a ligament tear. Harvin caught 62 passes for 677 yards in nine games for one of the NFL's worst passing attacks before hurting his ankle during a Nov. 4 game against the Seattle Seahawks. This move complicates an already-complicated potential contract negotiation this offseason. Harvin was upset with the Vikings before the year and is likely to seek a new deal. He has the skill set of a No. 1 receiver, but the production hasn't matched for a variety of reasons, many of which are out of his control. Source: NFL.com
