Vikings QB Brett Favre Considering Receiving Pain-Killing Injection

  1. Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was seen warming up in the snow prior to Monday night's game, and told ESPN's Ed Werder that his shoulder "wasn't too bad." Favre is considering receiving a pain-killing injection and starting tonight's game, though he mentioned that he would discuss it with coaches and trainers first. Rooke Joe Webb will play if Favre can't, but the more this story unfolds, the more it sounds like Favre will at least attempt to start a new, short-lived streak.
