Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre reacted with joy on Wednesday after learning that his team had acquired Pro Bowl WR Randy Moss to shore up its offense. Moss could help inject life into a Vikings passing offense that is ranked 24th in NFL and has stumbled to a 1-2 start. "This is an exciting move, I think everybody feels that in the locker room," Favre told Vikings.com. "It's rare you get to play with a future Hall of Famer and get to appreciate their talents up close. Randy Moss is a great player and his career speaks for itself. I've admired him from a distance for a long time and you can't help but be impressed by the guy. I've seen him light our teams up plenty of times in those Vikings-Packers games and I'm excited to be on the same team now." Favre lobbied the Packers to acquire Moss in 2007 when he was still in Green Bay. Moss will provide a deep threat the Vikings have missed without the injured Sidney Rice this season.
