Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder was limited for a second straight practice on Thursday due to soreness in his right throwing elbow, though his availability for this weekend's NFC Wild Card Playoff game at Green Bay doesn't appear to be in danger.

Ponder sustained the injury during Sunday's 37-34 home win over the Packers, but played the entire game and tied a career high with three touchdown passes while throwing for 234 yards without an interception.

"It's a little bit tight for him, just have to loosen up a little bit," said Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier of Ponder's elbow. "They're still doing some things with him. We'll see how he feels tomorrow, but he's going to do everything he can to of course be ready for this ball game."

Star running back Adrian Peterson, who rushed for 199 yards and a touchdown on a career-best 34 carries in Sunday's critical victory, was also limited in Thursday's session due to a minor abdominal strain. The MVP candidate did not practice on Wednesday as a precaution.

The only Minnesota starter whose status looks to be in question for Sunday's matchup is veteran cornerback Antoine Winfield, who sat out a second straight practice on Thursday and is dealing with a fractured right hand.
