The Vikings aren't sugarcoating anything when it comes to first-round pick Teddy Bridgewater.

He'll be competing for the starting job, as Bridgewater will receive first-team reps in OTAs, Vikings coach Mike Zimmerman told the NFL Network.

Bridgewater will compete with Matt Cassel and Christian Ponder for the job.

"Teddy's been great," Zimmer told NFL.com. "He's had a good command of the offense. I like his leadership. I like his determination. He's throwing the ball well. He's got good, quick feet. I think he's a good athlete. So he's progressing at a good pace."

Puff Puff Pass. But Bridgewater is the Vikes best chance not to suck this year. They better put him back there and go with him. All he has to do is turn around and give the ball to Peterson. Then complete passes downfield to back up the defense some.
