Judd Zulgad of the Star Tribune reports the Minnesota Vikings have received a roster exemption for wide receiver Percy Harvin. Harvin left training camp after the death of his grandmother. Harvin returned to Minnesota, but migraine headaches have kept him from reporting back to the team. No word yet on how the Vikings plan to use that roster exemption, but as Zulgad notes, that the Vikings would take this course of action is a sign that they don't envision Harvin returning to the club anytime soon. Absolutely love Percy Harvin but wish there was a way he could get this crap fixed. Missing 2-5 games a season is going to start becoming a problem.
