If Vince Young is going to play like he played Sunday, and my guess is that he will never play much better than he did Sunday, then playing him at all is a bad idea. Playing Young does nothing but show everyone in the league just how far away he is from being a starting quarterback in the NFL. His numbers were passable -- 9-for-13 for 55 yards; no interceptions or touchdowns -- but the numbers are misleading.

The titans should have drafted leinart. Granted, they have the best record in the AFC and are kicking some ass, but Leinart would have had a much better transition to the nfl going to chow and he could be a force right now. Vince can be fun to watch, but the NFL is the cream of the crop for talent and Vince just isn't above most players like he was at college. and honestly, he isn't very intelligent, he has had more problems trying to understand the pro game than actually playing it. Oh and he's also an EMO.

Actually I disagree....Cutler should have been their pick. I was sold on him since the game his senior year vs Florida where he almost pulled it out in OT. Leinart had a noodle arm and Young was a spread QB trying to make it in a dropback world.

Leinart is a system QB, with Chow calling a style he is used to, Matty would be alright
but with no Norm, Matt would blow

Culter would have been a solid pick, no question about it

I blame the Madden Curse for all his troubles. Enough said. The Madden Curse lives. They thought they could outsmart by putting Favre on there, but no, he came back and you saw the Jets suck monkey nuts that ended up getting a decent coach fired. Everyone saw his numbers down the stretch. Madden Curse lives! Who is the next victim?

Eh, we tried. Leinart would have had the same result and Cutler didn't deserve to be drafted 3rd... I thought we should have traded down and got more picks and then snag Cutler. I said I was going to give him 3 years and then I'd make a judgment and i can now say he isn't our future. Not saying he will never be good, but he is done on this team.

Do I regret the decision to take him? Not at all, we wouldn't be in the positions we are currently in (two post-seasons, #1 seed this year) with Cutler or Leinart. If we had to do it again and we weren't going to trade down he's the only choice.

Two playoff appearances, 32-16, #1 seed this year.... yea, I'll take it. :icon_cheesygrin:

I want to see Colts vs Titans round 3. Titans won early, Colts won when it was meaningless; but now that the Colts have Sanders and a healthy Manning; I want to see that. Or a rematch of Colts vs Steelers shouldn't be too bad either.
