Washington Redskins Name/Uniform Change Ideas

As you may have heard, the Washington Redskins' name is under a bit of assault for its perceived racial insensitivity. Some people scream about how awful the name is, others scream that it's the greatest name in professional sports, and still others take action ... by firing up Photoshop and seeing what kinds of new logos they can design.

ICECOLD's Take: I actually think the Warriors idea is really cool

 

I actually think the warriors is pretty disrespectful to soldiers.

 

Don't see how that would be any different than the Patriots. But educate me if you like. I come from the area, majority of my family is military and have served in conflicts. I personally see it as a commemoration

 

It was a joke. Like native Americans complaining about redskins being disrespectful or whatever.

Although in reality, it does seem wrong when players refer to games as battles, or to themselves as soldiers.

Borderline Arena logos.

Warriors is pretty much an "American Indian" nickname. Google Warrior Logos...half of them have an indian as the "mascot."

 

i wouldnt care if they changed their name or not, call em the D.C. whiteys for all i care

 

they will not change the name,but i like washington capitialists more than any other name.

 

How about the Washington Shutdowns. Could mean defense, could mean government. Its perfect.

 

How about just change the name to Skins and keep the logo. Still offensive?
