    Week 10 Who Do I Start Thread (WDIS)

    WDIS threads will be posted every Monday. All game times listed are EST, the world's time zone.

    Please post any roster questions for week 10 in this thread.

    Not sure who to start? Post your questions here. Please do not ask to have your entire lineup filled out for you.

    All posts must contain the following information for you to get the best answer:

    * Include your league scoring for the players in question.
    * How many do you start at that position?
    * Who are they playing?

    For example:
    WDIS Ricky Williams vs NYJ or DeAngelo Williams @ SD. My other starter is Marion Barber.

    Newbie needs WDIS help

    Evening Everyone!

    I was hoping to get a little help this week.

    WDIS?

    M Lynch RB @ NE
    R Brown RB vs. SEA
    J Lewis RB vs. DEN
    D. Rhodes @ PIT

    10/RuYds=1pt
    TD=6pts
    Turnovers= -1.1

    B. Marshall WR @ CLE
    R Moss WR vs. BUF
    M. Harrison WR @ PIT
    L. Moore WR @ ATL

    10/ReYds=1pt
    TD=6pts
    Turnovers= -1.1

    Right now I have Brown and Lewis slated to start but I hate benching Lynch. I have Marshall and Moss going as well.

    We start two of each WR and RB postition.

    I will also be starting:
    K. Warner QB
    A. Fasano TE
    D Carpenter K
    Eagles DST

    Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this!

  3. DoubleC

    DoubleC i'm ready now...

    I wonder who I should start at RB (2 starters).
    I have:
    T Jones (jets) v. rams
    L McClain (ravens) @ texans
    M Moore (steelers) v. colts
    W Parker (steelers) v. colts
    J Addai (colts) @ steelers

    10y=1point
    TD=6points
    1reception=1point
    fum=-2
    fum lost=-3

    I think about starting Jones but I really hesitate about the 2nd starter.

    86WARD -

    I need a QB.
    • 4 points per TD
    • -2 Interceptions or Fumbles
    • 1 point per 25, 5 point bonus if hit 300 yards
    I have Edwards against NE or

    Flacco, Collins, Russell, Wallace are on the waiver wire. Schaub, Orton, Hasselbeck and Campbell all just hit the wire and are available as well. I put a waiver claim in for Campbell and am dropping Palmer for him...

    The pickings is slim...

    Brown, Lynch, Marshall, Moss

    Jones, Parker

    Campbell is on bye so I'd prolly go with, uh crapty pickings here, Collins maybe. Edwards is an efficient NFL QB but a subpar FF QB. With a divisional game against NE I don't see him getting more than 200yds and 1TD. Maybe thats good enough to get by for a week. TEN is hot so thats the only reason I'd say Collins to stick with the hot hand even though his numbers wont be anything special either.

    Personally, I think Jones is definately a must start this week given your RB Corps. I would start Fast Willie in PIT against a suspect Colts Defense. He should be getting the bulk of the carries starting this week and will for sure get the red zone touches. If I had to pick a #3, it would be McLain vs. a suspect HOU team.

    Personally, I would go with Edwards. Campbell is on a by this week as well. I would still pick Campbell up for after this week. unless your league is RB heavy, he will not be on the wire long. Even with last weeks poor outing.

    Flacco vs ? ...that could be interesting as well.

    Oh Flacco vs. HOU. I think that is your bet right there. Mason woke up a bit, Flacco is playing goood not great but should be a great bye week replacement.

    you're screwed.

    wide - you would drop carson for collins? i might drop him for jc or orton, but not campbell. jump on jc now and save him for future use.

    Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of going with Lewis given Lynch's spotty play as of late.

    In a nonkeeper league? Yes. Palmer won't give you anything the rest of the season. There are only 5 games left until FF playoffs. You need value right now and Palmer ain't giving it to you anytime soon.

    Really? I'd take Campbell any day of the week...even Collins...over an unproven, rusty, unacclimatized (playbookwise) Culpepper playing behind a suspect at best Lions line. We're talking a guy who is currently about as immobile as they come behind a line about as porous as they come, like the noob said, I do recognize the potential of Culpeppers arm and CJ's young Moss-like abilities, but he's have to show me something before I'd pick him up personally. I'm all for taking waiver risk/reaches, but thats like a waiver Evil Kneivel jump.

    Campbell has been solid as a backup for me. I haven't had to start him yet other than for bye, but he has consistently (with a couple exceptions) put up solid numbers week in and out. Nothing spectacular, he's not going to carry a team, but he should not hurt you either, which is what I see from a lot of the others you listed. The potential for low single to negative digits with a sub-20 max.

    DoubleC i'm ready now...

    Since Parker has benn ruled out v. the Colts, I'll go with Moore.
    I'm confident with him, he made the job last month.

    3 needed of 4, standard scoring.

    Bowe @SD, DeSean vs. NYG, Chambers vs. KC, or Colston @ATL? I've also got Koren Robinson on the roster so I'll throw him in for fun.

    I love how the WDIS threads and ""who do I pick up off waivers" questions just go through the roof this time of year. Everyone for the most part is scrambling to fill spots, and only a few seem to know how.

    FEW, HELP ME!?!?!?

    I'm second guessing myself and would like some input here please.

    1pt/15 yds

    Greg Camarillo vs SEA or Desean Jackson vs NYG?

    Plax Or Vinny Jackson

    I have no idea who to start today. I need a big performance from either Plaxico or Vinny Jackson. I know plax hasnt had a big game in a while, hes due to blow up, but vinny's matchup against KC seems too good. I need help. Who should I start?

    86WARD -

    I'd go Burress almost every time over Jackson.
